Is there more to marriage than sex and the ups and downs?
I'm single and marriage just seems less and less appealing to me everday - people divorcing for selfish reasons etc but if all marriage is is sex and going thru ups and downs of life
why get married - I can't have kids - so that reason will never be valid
marriage just isn't what it used to be and just don't see myself ever fitting in
I've always been single and am so used to it - feel like I have to get married bur slight problem
no groom - is marriage a waste of the time at this point of my life or anyone 35 and older
let alone society has messed up marriage so it seems
due to an involuntary medical condition i am asexual - i dont want sex with anyone ever - i have no sex drive and feel shut out of marriage to anyone becuase i cant and dont want sex - i didnt ask for this but its the condition i have - marriage seems to be sex and nothing else - thats i why i dont see myself ever fitting in - thanks alot god lol
Wow my heart goes out to you. Is there medication that can help you with this problem? When I was reading the first part of your story, I was going to tell you hang in the that when the right person comes along you will know it. Sex is a big part of marriage but not all of it. Yes there is ups and downs this to me is what makes it work. I can not even imagine my life without my husband of 22 years. We do not have sex all the time. We do hold each other and love each other. As for you not being able to have children, there are a lot of couples who do not have children. Please do not be so bitter about marriage. I will promise you that when that special person comes along you will see it different.
