What is the problem of towing a boat about 30 miles from the Chesapeake Bay?
I live near Laurel, MD. I would like one day buy a sport boat. I wondered just how very difficult it would be to tow the boat to and from the bay. (I would only use the boat may once a week)
Judging by the number of boats that you see on Route 50 or Route 175 every weekend, many people do. I would recommend a trailer eazy roller loader with 15 "tires and a 21 'boat rather than a 19' if you go to the bay. In fact, I had a 24'bowrider that was one of the boats I loved most. This means greater towvehiclee as a full-size pickup. (Better than SUV or pickup truck for towing). Put a Class III hitch on it and you can handle a bigger boat. Laurel, I would go north of Baltimore (Hart Miller Island and the south to the Potomac. Fort Washington, Or, take 50 to Sandy Point (busy weekend). Good luck and have fun.
