what is this mineral?
I have a mineral sample that i am having trouble identifying. im pretty sure its a mineral, not a rock, because it has a definite crystal structure and no grains. heres some phisical properties i can describe:
-dark grey color
-very shiny luster
-cubic crystal structure (i think)
- not magnetic
-no taste
- feels dense, small pieces considerably heavy
- im not sure how hard it is, but when you rub it on paper it leaves grey marks like a pencil, but im not sure if its graphite
